But before that, the last week of July sees three important events running simultaneously. Now the organisers are not necessarily trying to avoid competition from other series. This is undoubtedly a healthy sign for international karting competition.

The Rotax MAX Challenge International Trophy has 277 entries in six categories in France on the Le Mans circuit from 26th to 30th July. The third round of the IAME Euro Series will take place in Italy from 28th to 31st July at Castelletto with 214 entries in its three categories. Finally, the second and final round of the WSK Euro Series has 253 entries for its four categories at Sarno from 28th to 31th July. The figures are flattering.

RMCIT and IAME Euro Series are most successful with their Senior categories, while Mini Gr.3 and OK-Junior are the most popular in WSK. Although English and Italian are the most widely spoken languages in the international paddocks, the number of countries represented in this kind of race is frequently higher than 30, the RMCIT is preparing to welcome 40 and WSK reached 50 nationalities in Lonato. In addition to the major European karting nations, Eastern Europe provides many drivers despite the difficulties that currently limit Russian participation, while Asia, South America and the USA are well represented as is Australia.

Thanks to the live-streaming media coverage, there will be plenty to keep racing enthusiasts busy at the end of July while staying at home. As soon as the next part of the season starts, it will be time for the big world races, starting with the FIA Karting World Championships in Le Mans (1st-4th September) and Sarno (16th-18th September).
