Since switching to Juniors at the end of 2023, Bogdan Cosma Cristofor has been racking up podiums and victories. His determination is as strong as ever and the work done with his new British team, Forza Racing, has paid off. After convincing Free Practice sessions, Bogdan started Friday with the fastest time, being the only driver to go under the 48-second barrier. He set off confidently for the official Qualifying session and confirmed this with a magnificent pole position, while also significantly improving his lap times.

Leader from start to finish

Bogdan's progress continued in all three heats. Particularly skilful during the start phases and always very combative during the races, the Romanian won his three heats brilliantly, twice showing great strength of character in the face of adversity. The Prefinal proved to be another tough one in a highly competitive OK-N Junior class, but it was once again Bogdan who crossed the finish line first.

The efficiency of his Exprit-TM kart from the Forza Racing team was confirmed in the Final, as was the consistency of Bogdan Cosma Cristofor, who quickly managed to protect himself from an attack from his pursuers to cross the chequered flag as winner. It was a very important victory, as the young Romanian took the lead in the provisional standings of one of the most important series of the 2024 season, the WSK Super Master Series. After his podium finish the previous season in the WSK Champions Cup, also at the Lonato circuit in Italy, Bogdan can be proud of his start to the season.

Bogdan Cosma-Cristofor is today one of the most promising prospects in Romania. This young karting driver was born on March 25, 2011. He made his first steps in competition in 2018. Motivated by the success of his brother David, a year older than him, he quickly progressed on the circuits in his home country, before getting involved at the international level.

The world's best drivers in the Mini category are now used to meeting in Italy and Bogdan has not hesitated to compete with them, constantly improving his results in the last two years.
