The world's biggest leisure karting event is getting ready to take over one of the world's most famous racing venues. From 3rd to 6th July 2024, the legendary Genk circuit in Belgium will host the 13th edition of the SWS International Finals. The major annual meeting of the Sodi W Series is once again beating its records, with 410 drivers expected at the "Home of Champions" for an exceptional event.

Confirmed success for the SWS

Launched in 2009 by the Sodikart group, the world number 1 in karting, the SWS concept has gone from strength to strength. The exceptional quality of Sodi Rental karts, always at the cutting edge of innovation, and the exemplary organisation common to all SWS-labelled circuits has accompanied the rise of this genuine karting phenomenon. The largest international leisure karting ranking now brings together over 100,000 drivers and more than 600 partner tracks in 70 countries. The best drivers in each category have access to the SWS International Finals.

An international benchmark circuit

Genk is a key venue in the world of kart racing. Created in 1983 and completely restyled in 2005 to adapt to the new CIK-FIA standards, the Genk circuit has always been synonymous with top-level competition. It has hosted countless major international events. World Championships, World Cups and European Championships have forged an unrivalled reputation for the track, which has played a major role in the rise of Max Verstappen. Under the impetus of the Lemmens family, Genk has reached new heights in organisational mastery, with ultra-modern facilities offering unrivalled services for competitors and their entourage.

Located in the heart of the forest in the province of Limburg, close to the Dutch border, the Belgian course is 1360 metres long. Its selectivity is legendary, just as the pleasure of driving is immense on this extraordinary site which also offers maximum safety. The 'Home of Champions' organises high-level competitions and highly sought-after leisure events all year round.

Four intense days

Day 1, Wednesday 3rd July, will be devoted to the welcome, Free Practice and first Qualifying Practice for the individual categories. On Thursday 4th, the heats will be in full swing before closing with the Welcome Party on the circuit's terrace. Day 3, Friday 5th, will be dedicated to endurance racing with the famous 12-hour race. Finally, on Saturday 6th, the fourth day will include the Super Heats, the Finals and the much-anticipated closing ceremony in the very fashionable C-Mine.

A record 410 drivers

New for 2024 is the introduction of a Master category reserved for drivers aged 40 and over, in response to growing demand in this segment. With 30 Master drivers, 30 Kid drivers, 30 Junior drivers, 30 Women drivers, 98 Sprint drivers and 48 Endurance teams, this year's total comes to 410 drivers.

Brand new karts

Sodikart will be providing competitors in Genk with a complete fleet of 128 brand new karts. Junior and Junior Kid drivers, divided up according to weight, will have their first opportunity to race on the new Sodi LR6s with Honda 4-stroke 200cc engines. Sprint, Sprint Women and Master will be racing Sodi Sport karts powered by a 13hp Honda 4-stroke 270cc engine specially developed for racing. The Endurance Cup will be contested at the wheel of the famous RT 10s powered by powerful 390cc Honda 4-strokes.

High-value prizes

The prizes at the SWS International Finals are part of the appeal of this competition, thanks to the involvement of its partners. Bell will be offering helmets to the best teams, as will Cambox for its latest-generation onboard cameras, two F4 training courses will be made available by AGS Formula, Mak Design, a specialist in customisation, will be offering helmet covers and ITAKAshop, Sodikart's online shop, will be handing out a number of vouchers. The best Endurance teams will receive tickets for a 24-hour race for the 1st, 12 hours for the 2nd and 6 hours for the 3rd.

Closing evening at C-Mine

Formerly an industrial site devoted to exploiting the region's mining resources, C-Mine is now a multi-activity site offering ultra-modern, highly fashionable party venues. The evening event on Saturday 6th will provide the backdrop for the awards ceremony, celebrating not only the event's top drivers as well as the best performers of the SWS 2023 season. Participation in the evening is included in the entry fee for each driver and team.

Social networks and live streaming

The SWS community lives all year round on the SWS social networks, Facebook and Instagram. The SWS International Finals in Genk can be followed in particular through live-timing and live-streaming on Youtube from Thursday 4th.
