Kart: CRG French National Champions for the third year running
Reportagem: Ludo Racing

The CRG chassis clearly made the difference at Muret during the FFSA Karting French Championship. Jules Avril dominated the National category from pole position to the Final, with the invaluable assistance of the Ludo Racing team. After Louis Iglesias in 2022 and Hugo Martiniello in 2023, CRG was crowned champion for the third year in succession. The event also saw Guillaume Pous of the OKS team win the French Masters Championship. These two titles confirm the work and investment from CRG France with the support of the Italian factory.

In the heat of the Toulouse region and on a track where grip increased from day to day, the CRG chassis fulfilled their objectives by offering performance and consistency to the drivers who used the products of the famous brand, whose reputation is well established throughout the world. Today, CRG is podium insurance, both internationally and in France.

Jules Avril dominant on CRG in National

CRG France remains at the top of the National category. Already winner of the French Cup in 2023 with a CRG chassis, Jules Avril was the boss at Muret: pole position, leader of the heats with four victories, in the lead after the Super Heats and a sensational victory in the Final won by more than two seconds. Jules also insisted on setting the fastest lap. His team-mate Timéo Fagot Revurat (P11) set the event record of 57"594. Aloïs Girardet of the Circuit de l'Enclos was also in the top four with a second CRG chassis.

Fast in Senior, Champion in Master

Although he had won a heat and was ready to fight for the podium in the Senior class, Quentin Borne (Kart In Pro Compétition) did not have the success he had hoped for when he fell into a collision at the start, as did the fast Jean-Rémy Dupuy. Malo Bolliet took over with a brilliant 5th place.

A few weeks after the domination of Joffrey Rouchy (OKS) in the IAME France Master's category at Belmont, this time Guillaume Pous was in the spotlight. Also perfectly supported by Thierry Estre's OKS team, the driver from the Ligue Occitanie-Pyrénées made the difference in the Final, setting the fastest lap. Pous was taking part in the French Master's Championship for the first time and he led from the outset, acknowledging the extreme effectiveness of his equipment.

Comment from Ludovic Veve of CRG France.

'Like last year, we're continuing to win with the CRG brand in 2024. I'd like to thank Giancarlo Tinini, the man in charge of the Italian brand, for his confidence and for supplying us with such competitive chassis. All our customers who try them out are always pleasantly surprised by the level of performance. I'd also like to congratulate our dealers who are adding to the list of winners that we're building up in France. In IAME France, NSK, Trophée Kart Mag, Long Circuit or the Ligues, the performance is there and so are the victories, in all categories. At Muret in National, the engines were drawn at random, so Jules had to make up the difference with his driving and his chassis'.
