Reportagem: Du Kart à la F1
Experience an incredible adventure for just €60.

For €60, the 2nd 'From Kart to F1' Challenge lets you take part in a selection process in karting, then in F4, for a chance to win a drive in an F1 car on the Circuit Paul Ricard.

From kart to single-seater, from 1,400 qualified drivers to six finalists

Through selections in four-stroke karts, then two-stroke karts and finally Formula 4, reach the holy grail of driving an F1 car on one of France's greatest circuits.

Sodi / Honda four-stroke karts

- Qualifying for the top 1,400 in January/February 2025 on one of the 35 partner tracks in France and Switzerland after a 10-minute session.

- 16 rounds at the end of February / beginning of March 2025 using 10-minute sessions to select 400 drivers.

Sodi / Rotax two-stroke karts

- Eight rounds on one of the five tracks with two driving sessions. The top 60 will be selected.

Formula 4

Take the wheel of a 2017 F4 Mygale M14 with a Renault 1.3-litre turbo engine and 160 bhp.

- Quarter-Final: At the beginning of April, a briefing session, coaching, simulator and track reconnaissance will precede a 10-lap session in the F4. The times will be timed from the fifth lap and the ranking will be based on the average of the best three runs.

- Semi-Final: the 12 qualifiers will contest eight Free Practice laps and six Timed Practice laps, with the average of the two best times being used to determine the six finalists.

- Final: Also at the beginning of April 2025, the Final will be run over six timed laps after two sessions of five Free Practice laps.

The winner will take part in the French Historic Grand Prix.

The fastest driver over the age of 18 in the Final will drive an AGS F1 SH4 at the Historic French Grand Prix on the Le Castellet circuit, while the other finalists will win an F1 training course in 2025 at the wheel of a Prost F1, Arrows F1 or AGS SH1 on the same circuit.

The "From Kart to F1" challenge is open to all drivers aged 16 on 4th April 2025. It is organised in partnership with Sodikart, ITAKAShop, KSP Reportages, le Grand Prix de France Historique and AGS F1. The entry fee is €60.

Entries will be open in six different categories from 15th October 2024 on www.dukartalaf1.com. Participants can enter at several tracks and on different dates to maximise their chances of Qualifying, thereby increasing their opportunities to progress in the competition.
