Kart: exciting finale expected at Al Forsan
Reportagem: Champions of the Future Academy Program

From 2nd to 4th December, the Champions of the Future Academy Program returns to the Al Forsan International Sports Resort kart circuit, where the successful RGMMC series was launched just one year ago. This 6th and final round promises to be a major event at the end of the 2024 season. The winners will be announced in Abu Dhabi and a substantial prize list awaits the most deserving drivers of the year.

A world-class circuit and infrastructure

The Al Forsan International Sports Resort is strategically located in Khalifa City, just 10 minutes from Abu Dhabi International Airport, at the heart of a major sports, fitness, leisure and entertainment complex. With its 1,228-metre CIK-FIA-homologated karting track, it boasts top-class facilities that are sure to delight the many drivers preparing to join the starting grids of this eagerly-awaited competition.

An enticing prize list

At the end of the event, RGMMC will reward the OK-N Senior, OK-N Junior and Mini 60 Champions, as well as three select drivers, with a special invitation from the Kick Sauber F1 team to enter the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix paddock on Thursday, the day after the Finals. Thanks to the "F1 Academy Discover Your Drive" Selection Process the best female Senior driver will win an F4 test with the F1 Academy. An F4 test with MPA (Motorsport Academy Program) will also be offered to the best Senior driver who is not part of "Discover Your Drive". As a new partner of the Champions of the Future Academy Program, MPA will be offering the Junior Champion a test in a Legend Car - an excellent way of opening up to other forms of motor sport.

OK-N Senior (14 years and over): Luna Fluxa Cross out to close the deal

Leading the series since the first day of competition in Cremona, Spain's Luna Fluxa Cross is keen to claim the crown once and for all. Mathematically, only France's Hugo Herrouin can still clinch the title, but he will also have to keep an eye on two drivers hoping to steal 2nd place from him: Lithuania's Markas Silkunas and France's Philippe Karras. At the end of the Championship, in all categories, the the two worst Finals and the two worst results at the end of the Qualifying Heats will be discounted

OK-N Junior (12-14 years): James Anagnostiadis in top form

With a double victory on 16th and 17th November at Al Ain, Australian James Anagnostiadis pulled off a magnificent operation in the overall standings in a category which always produces uncertain races. Seven drivers have already climbed to the top step of the podium at least once. Conor Clancy from the United Arab Emirates and Poland's Kacper Rajpold were ranked 2nd and 3rd respectively before the trip to Abu Dhabi. Their place in the top three is not definitive, however, as two drivers are hoping to take advantage of this last round to move up the order: South African William Marshall and Thai Toby Gale. Monegasque Ella Häkkinen, ranked 6th, will be looking to retain her place.

Mini 60 (9-12 years): five winners already, who's next?

In Europe as in the Middle East, the races for young drivers aged nine to 12 proved to be fascinating to follow. While Belgium's Bruno Priam has already scored enough points to be crowned champion, there are still plenty of unknowns. The duel for 2nd place overall promises to be intense between Switzerland's Albert Tamm and Italy's Niccoló Perico. Winner of a race in Dubai and on the podium in Al Ain, Nikita Dzhalilov will be aiming for another victory to move up the rankings. In the U10 Minis group, we'll also be watching the epilogue between the three title contenders: Italy's Niccoló Perico, Achilleas Peruzzi from the United Arab Emirates and Switzerland's Lorenzo Zucchetto.
