Kart: a legendary circuit for Round 3 of the Academy Program
Reportagem: Champions of the Future Academy Program

Several weeks have passed since the first two rounds of the Champions of the Future Academy Program were held in Portimao (Portugal) and Valencia (Spain). So it's with great anticipation and excitement that the many drivers involved will be returning to RGMMC's innovative concept of an 'arrive and drive' competition designed to reveal and detect young talent in three distinct age groups: Mini, Junior and Senior. Scheduled from 4th to 6th July 2025, the next competition will take place on the legendary Jesolo circuit, long regarded as the temple of karting. Located in the north-east of Italy, close to Venice, it has hosted the greatest international events and seen the exploits of thousands of drivers, including the late Ayrton Senna.

Visibility and opportunities

As at every event, many resources will be devoted to promoting this competition in Jesolo, with the production of high-quality footage enriched by interviews, video clips, statistics and a wealth of data. Live streaming will be available on platforms such as YouTube, Facebook and Motorsport TV, as well as on other social networks.

The Champions of the Future Academy Program is clearly positioned as a real springboard to reach the top. Partnerships with major motorsport bodies offer new opportunities for young drivers, as was the case with James Anagnostiadis. Winner of the 2024 OK-N Junior series, the Australian is now one of the young hopefuls of the Mercedes-AMG F1 Team. Among the many women who will be competing in 2025, several are already wearing the colours of the 'F1 Academy Discover your Drive' programme. Scholarships in F4 and Legend Cars will also be offered by the Motorsport Performance Academy.

OK-N Senior: Who will stop Markas Silkunas?

In Portugal as in Spain, the duels were non-stop, but that didn't stop Markas Silkunas (LTU) from making the difference in the four Finals, with two separate races take place at each event, one on Saturday and the other on Sunday. If his rivals don't want to see him continue to pull away in the overall standings, they're going to have to hit back very quickly. This includes the drivers who have already joined Silkunas on the podium: Marlon Bayer (SUI), Guido Bruno Bidoli (NAM), Wojciech Woda (POL) and Barros Meneses Martim (POR), as well as two women, Chiara Battig (SUI) and Klara Kowalcyyk (POL).

OK-N Junior: Consistency pays off for Many Nuvolini

In a multi-round series, it's important to be consistent, and Many Nuvolini (FRA) proved that at the start of the season. Three times out of four, he has finished on the third step of the podium and has already scored enough points to arrive in Jesolo with the leader's bib. His main rivals have often had misfortunes, like Poland's Kacper Rajpold: the first winner of the season who has failed to climb back onto the podium. Nuvolini will have to be wary of the two UAE drivers, Leonidas Peruzzi and Conor Clancy, who have won a race each. Albert Tamm (SUI) won a race at Portimao, while Nojus Stasionis (LTU), Vanesa Silkunaite (LTU) and Huifei Xie (ITA) showed that they were capable of fighting it out in the top three.

Mini 60: Three different winners already!

Niccolo Perico (ITA) won the two Finals in Portugal, but was then beaten by Vicente Capela (POR) and then by Wynn Godschalk (USA) in Spain. Wynn Godschalk has no shortage of ambition, given that he is entered in the U10 category and leads the rankings ahead of his compatriot Zayne Burgess. Jan Gardzielik (POL), Mattis Brageot (FRA) and Aaron Mason (UAE) have already reached the podium this season and will be looking to do the same on the Adriatic coast. Achilleas Peruzzi (UAE), currently 5th in the rankings, will also be one to watch.
