KZ: Senna Van Walstijn makes the difference

A week after his XXL performance in the Champions of the Future Final, Senna Van Walstijn imposed his pace on his rivals in the Final after taking the lead in the race on lap five. Fast and consistent, just like his Sodi chassis, the Dutchman earned a well-deserved world title. Sodikart and CPB Sport retained the World Championship they won last year.

Thanks to Jean Nomblot, Mattéo Spirgel and Adrien Renaudin, the French brand placed four chassis in the top 12 of the Final. 6th on the starting grid after setting the three fastest laps in his three heats, Alessio Lorandi was hoping to fight for the podium before getting caught up in a collision at the start. On his return, with only one preparatory race under his belt, the Italian was able to appreciate the performance of his equipment.

KZ2: Sodi / TM Kart / CPB Sport double

After taking pole position, Maksim Orlov won all six of his heats, while Maximilian Schleimer racked up five wins and Timo Jüngling four. That's a total of 15 wins out of 21! Orlov and Schleimer hammered home their advantage by each winning their Super Heat.

Sodikart and the CPB Sport team continued to assert their dominance in KZ2 in the Final. Winning with the fastest lap in the race and more than four seconds ahead at the finish, Orlov lifted the World Cup on the top step of the podium, with Jüngling alongside him on the second step. CPB Sport had four chassis in the top six with Schleimer in 4th and Jayden Thien in 6th. We must commend the exceptional work of engine manufacturer Sani Compétition on the TM engines, which were extremely competitive at Franciacorta.

KZ2 Masters: Anthony Abbasse on the podium

After two consecutive victories in 2023 and 2024 in the KZ2 Masters International Super Cup, Sodikart secured another podium finish with Anthony Abbasse. The French driver battled in the leading group throughout the race. Starting 4th in the Final, he quickly gained a position to secure his place in the top three.

Team manager Paul Bizalion commented

"We are leaving Franciacorta with an impressive collection of trophies. We are experiencing another sensational year, to which we can now add this double world title. The chassis that roll off the assembly lines at the Sodikart factory are incredibly competitive, allowing us to provide identical equipment to all our drivers. In addition to the victories and titles, we placed four Sodi-TM karts in the top 12 in KZ, three chassis in the top six in KZ2 with a double win, and three chassis in the top 12 in KZ2 Masters. These are not isolated performances!"

"I am extremely proud of the team. There is a fantastic atmosphere in the awning and this fighting spirit rubs off on everyone, from the drivers to the mechanics, who have done an impressive job with team managers Florent Bizalion and Kevin Cuoco around them. It was important to highlight this, as well as the skills of the engine manufacturers Sani Compétition and Cédric Motors, the data acquisition managers, and not forgetting all the staff at the Sodikart factory. In this respect, the two FIA Karting team titles in KZ and KZ2, in addition to the European and World Championships, further reflect this overall result."
