Kart: FIA Karting Anti-Launch / Interview

I'm writing to invite you to a roundtable discussion with Nuno Costa, FIA Safety Director and Marco Petrilli, Deputy Safety Director to discuss the anti-launch device in karting which has been deployed this year during the Karting events in Cremona and Malaysia. They will be happy to discuss the safety and technical aspects of the device, it's development and the significant research that went into its creation.

The format will be a 45 min chat via Teams with yourself and other journalists who have requested a discussion on this topic in recent months.

If you are able to attend, we kindly request that the conversation remains on the topic of the device and its technical and safety aspects as the Safety team are unable to discuss the sporting or other karting related matters.

The roundtable will be on Thursday 15 Jan at 15:00 CET if you are able to join?

Furthermore, we also request that the discussion is under embargo until Thursday 5 February which falls during FIA Safety Week.
