Kart: more exciting duels expected in Valencia
Reportagem: Champions of the Future Academy Program

Organised at the end of March, the opening of the 2024 Champions of the Future Academy Program was a great success on the Italian circuit of Cremona. The new 'arrive and drive' concept introduced by RGMMC delighted the many participants in the three Mini 60, OK-N Junior and OK-N Senior categories. American Alessandro Truchot, Pole Kacper Rajpold and Spaniard Luna Fluxa Cross are the initial leaders in this innovative series, which continues in Spain on the Lucas Guerrero circuit in Valencia from 10th to 12th May.

Valencia fills up in OK-N Junior

The 36 places available in OK-N Junior have all been reserved. With 33 and 31 drivers entered respectively, the Mini 60 and OK-N Senior categories are also popular. It is still possible to join the series and reserve a place for the rest of the Championship, or for a single event by obtaining a wildcard. After Valencia, the final European meeting will take place from 26th-28th July at Franciacorta in Italy. The Champions of the Future Academy Program will then head to the Middle East, with the last three rounds scheduled in the United Arab Emirates in October, November and December. The points system, with the possibility of counting two Finals and two results obtained after the Qualifying Heats, means that drivers who missed out in the first races still have every chance of finishing in the top places in the overall standings.

Benchmark partners for the supply of equipment

The Champions of the Future Academy Program is the ideal way for drivers to showcase their talent and skills, with the opportunity to be spotted in a fair and sporting manner. Each driver has access to identical equipment prepared by some of the world's most renowned manufacturers. Parolin and TM Kart supply the Mini 60 karts, while Kart Republic and IAME manage the OK-N Junior and Senior categories.

A host of advantages

The programme is attractive with two separate races, doubling the chances of a podium finish, in addition to numerous free sessions, Qualifying Heats and a double Qualifying session.

Several F1 teams have expressed an interest in the series created by RGMMC and the F1 Academy has been involved since the project was launched, giving drivers the chance to join a unique detection programme.

With over 35 years' experience in the field of mental, medical and sporting preparation for drivers, Formula Medicine will be present at the European rounds to offer free training and education modules to all drivers wishing to take part.

Each event will be broadcast live via the global motorsport platform Motorsport TV. Re-broadcasts of the Finals and the best moments of the event will benefit from a large audience. The YouTube channel and the Facebook and Instagram social networks have thousands of followers. Subscribers are strongly recommended to access all the video content, as well as information about the series.

RGMMC is committed to minimising the environmental impact of its events. The promoter measures, reduces and offsets all greenhouse gas emissions associated with major events as part of its commitment to environmental sustainability.
