Kart: exceptional performance and consistency whatever the conditions
Reportagem: LeCont Srl

The WSK Super Master Series spanned five rounds from late January to late March. As a partner of the renowned Italian promoter for the OK and KZ2 categories, LeCont achieved its goal of ensuring the consistent satisfaction of drivers and teams with its LPM Prime tyres. Regardless of the track characteristics or weather conditions, the races proved to be intense. Lev Krutogolov in OK and Max Orlov in KZ2 were crowned champions after the final round held at Franciacorta. LeCont is already poised to take on new challenges in 2026...

A new lap record at Lonato

The circuits at La Conca, Sarno, Viterbo, Lonato and Franciacorta offered very different track conditions throughout WSK Promotion's flagship series. On each occasion, LeCont approached these events with its expertise and ever-higher standards. The drivers sought to push the boundaries and the Italian manufacturer supported them in their quest for excellence. A clear example demonstrated that LeCont is always seeking the best balance between grip, performance and consistency. On Friday 6th March 2026, during the fourth round of the WSK Super Master Series, Senna Van Walstijn set a new lap record at South Garda Karting in Lonato with a time of 44.624 seconds, averaging 96.81 km/h. A remarkable feat!

An obsession with ensuring competitor satisfaction

In addition to the effectiveness of the LeCont LPM Prime tyre over a single lap, LeCont has helped ensure a level playing field across both categories, with extremely close gaps between drivers throughout the series. This is the result of relentless work at the Rovereto factory, where passion, innovation and precision lead to the manufacture of exceptional products, constantly subjected to rigorous quality testing.

Champions crowned after a nail-biting finish

In KZ2, no fewer than 10 drivers from six different teams took places on the podium. Despite his three victories, Senna Van Walstijn was unable to prevent Max Orlov from clinching the title. In the final standings, Orlov thus succeeds... Van Walstijn! Like LeCont tyres, Orlov proved to be both high-performing and consistent. Marek Skrivan completed the podium in the overall standings despite the efforts of Cristian Bertuca, Emilien Denner and Danilo Albanese.

In the OK class, plenty of points were still up for grabs at Franciacorta and five drivers were still in contention for the title. With three podium finishes, including two wins in 2026, Lev Krutogolov put the finishing touches to his triumph by scoring enough points at Franciacorta to definitively pull away from his rivals. Three other drivers won Finals in 2026: Dean Hoogendoorn, Luke Kornder and Benjamin Manach. The latter finished 3rd in the overall standings behind the consistent Zac Drummond. In total, 11 drivers from eight different teams made it onto the podium.

Over the course of the two months, the drivers competing in the WSK Super Master Series on LeCont tyres were able to appreciate the exceptional performance of the Italian tyres.
