After a first half of the 2026 season already highlighted by its commitment alongside WSK Promotion during the Super Master and Euro series, LeCont successfully continues its partnership with the Italian organizer for the WSK Final Cup. From the very first of the three rounds held at the Franciacorta circuit, the Italian brand's tyres once again proved their effectiveness, offering OK class drivers ideal conditions to fully express their talent.

A benchmark manufacturer for the OK category

On a circuit renowned for its demanding nature, LeCont tyres met every expectation by combining speed, consistency, and stability throughout the entire meeting. Right from qualifying practice, Canada's Tristan Crisan made his mark by securing pole position in OK with a 47.044, while extremely tight gaps throughout the field confirmed the grid's close competitiveness. Every race produced fiercely contested battles. Drivers were able to rely on a consistent, long-lasting level of grip to unleash their full potential.

Franciacorta track at over 100 km/h average speed

The final rewarded Lev Krutoholov following a top-tier performance. In the final, the Ukrainian driver finished ahead of Tristan Crisan and Spain's Benjamin Manach. Beyond the race result itself, the lap times perfectly illustrate the competitiveness of LeCont tyres and their optimum grip. Having already set the fastest lap of the event during the pre-final in 46.690, Krutoholov pushed the limits of his kart even further with a remarkable 46.601, an average speed exceeding 100 km/h, which is six-tenths faster than the best lap recorded during the last FIA Karting World Championship held at Franciacorta. The development work carried out for the latest CIK-FIA homologation continues to bear fruit.

Proven expertise confirmed

The high technology of LeCont tyres directly contributes to race quality and sporting fairness, two core values of major international competition. The 2026 WSK Final Cup will continue across two more major Italian venues: Lonato, from 18 to 22 November, and Viterbo, from 25 to 29 November, where LeCont will continue to support the top drivers in their quest for performance in OK, as well as in KZ2 during both rounds.
